A flat car floor is often more stable than a soft, sloped seat.
2. Secure the box without crushing it
Use a non-slip mat, clean towels or stable bags around the box to reduce sliding.
3. Keep the car cool
Use air conditioning when possible and avoid hot trunks, direct sunlight and long waiting periods in a parked vehicle.
4. Refrigerate soon after arriving
Once home, put the cake in the refrigerator first.
5. Motorcycle transport needs extra care
Motorcycles are more affected by uneven roads, braking, leaning and heat. Large or tall cakes may need a more suitable transport method.
FAQ: Can I put a cake on the passenger seat?
If the seat is noticeably angled, it is not ideal. A flat car floor is usually safer.
