Year-end is one of the busiest periods for birthdays, office gatherings and holiday celebrations.

A cake that may be easy to arrange on a normal week can become much harder to book on a popular December date.

1. Even regular cakes should be booked 3–5 days ahead

If your date is already fixed, it is better to confirm a regular cake a few days early.

That gives you a better chance of getting the size you want and enough time to plan pickup or delivery.

2. Custom cakes: allow at least one week

Custom cakes need more than just baking time.

We also need to confirm:

  • reference images
  • theme
  • colors
  • message
  • size
  • pickup or delivery time

The later the process starts, the fewer changes can be made comfortably.

3. Fix the headcount before the size

Year-end guest lists often change.

Try to get a realistic headcount first, then choose 6, 8, 10 inches or larger.

If there are several other desserts, you can stay on the smaller side. If the cake is the main dessert, leave a little extra room.

4. Plan delivery at the same time

If you need delivery, confirm the address and preferred arrival window together with the cake.

IM CAKE currently delivers to selected Metro Manila areas, including:

  • Makati
  • Pasay
  • BGC (Taguig)
  • Mandaluyong

Popular delivery windows can also fill up during the holidays, so it is better to reserve them early.
